 Apparently the earliest documented use of one of today's most popular internet acronyms has been found in one of his letters to Churchill: http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2012/08...first-omg.html ...to which Churchill replied "LOL"  I guess the internet hasn't changed our language that much, huh
