Default Help! Cant hear my guys say "torpedo in the water"

Im using GWX 3.0 and a bunch of other mods.

The problem happened after i installed the das boot sound mod (without JGSME). I didnt like it so i recopied my original sound folder.

On paper that should make everything fine but now all i hear when firing a torpedo is

tube 1, fire!
(in german though)

i miss hearing "Eel is im Wasser"

It's not there because I took it out of DBSM and replaced it with a blank file. I searched long and hard and could find no record of the soundman ever saying that, and no reason why he would. He would probably say it if he heard an incoming torpedo, but that would only happen if they were surfaced, and then the hydrophones wouldn't work, so he couldn't. That, and SH3 doesn't have incoming torpedoes.

Bottom line: It's just one more of the things they screwed up.

It's always a good idea to keep a complete stock Data folder in a safe place. That way it's easy to replace any original file you like.
