How long was your period of inactivity?...it looks like seven months, that could have some bearing on your account status.

It's possible indeed.

I'd all but given up with subsims after SH5, but recently started yearning for the open seas and stuff to blow up.
So I purchased SH4 and was quite impressed, got have way through the downloads and received the "you must be new here" message.

Ahh well I'm sure I'll find a way to finish off the downloads
