I just passed post 400!

I have been a member here for just under a year. Joined last August. Two days before the birthday....in just under a year, i made 400 posts. Its a milestone for me here.

I hope for many more posts on Subsim!

Im not the most active member....but i think 400 is good for a year. I asked many questions, got many answers, and even answered some myself.

Only reason i registered! So i could get my submarine and other naval questions answered, and to learn more about my new hobby.

I am an XO now....so on a sub i would have SOME power. I dont need 25 years. :P

I think I'm around 4000 per year, most of those are highly constructive in the field of beautiful women or four-words though so it doesn't mean anything.

We've all got a long way to go to catch up with Jim or Steve, and Steve is almost half of Jim's! I think the current 'most rampant poster' is BossMark with almost 6k in just over a year. That'll still take him 11 years to reach Jim if Jim were to stop posting now.

The same old comparisons with Steve and I are often made at times like this and that is all well and good but believe me...it's not the size of the post count but what you bring to the community that Neal and the peer group appreciate

I was the first one to pass 10,000 posts, back in May 2007. I had been here less than five years. Jim had joined just a year earlier.

His current daily post count is around 2.5 times mine. BUT...as he said, it's what's in the posts, not how many there are. I'm glad to say that I've never seen Jim actually post spam. Sometimes something useless, sure, but we all do that and it's all in fun. I tease him about it sometimes, but my friend Jim is one of the best posters around.
