Anyone know where I can download the brown and grey nav map mod? I've been googling like crazy and can't find it. Thanks, LG

Can you give an idea of exactly which map ?

Are you talking about the really big map (200+MBytes) that the game uses as standard (with or without lines of longitude/latitude) , or the 'ACEs of the Deep' convoy map, OR another map.

Failing that, you could always colourise the maps with an image editor.

It was the same map as the game, just recolored to look like the KM map. It wasn't the cloth version but I'll check it out anyway. I' doing a new SH3 build and I'll be damned if the map mod isn't the only one missing from my folder.

If you find it let me know. I never knew there was such a thing. I have to admit the 'cloth' version looks very good, and I'll be using it unless you turn up something even better. I've always liked that flat brown look.

That's the one! Many thanks! Although that cloth version intrigues me. Will give it a whirl as well. Thanks again, guys!

You can overlay the cloth effect on the Brown and Grey map Mod.
Just delete the Terrain folder in the Grey and Brown map Mod.

I enabled the map in JSGME and I'm really happy how it looks. This definitely looks a lot more like the Kriegsmarine maps I've seen in the internet. I'm yet to try what would it look like if I delete the terrain.
