RSRD V % Patch
1.5 OTC

Nav Map Makeover V2.1 and the Airbase add on.
Date Feb 16,1944, Just off of Truk, waiting for the invasion.
All of a sudden a extremely high obelisk pops up 22 N Mi NE of Truck. It is labelled Operation Hailstorm Headquarters. That kind of defines it. But it is solid ( if you run into it you will sink, I know ). It is shaped like the Washington Monument. I don't get the strange vision. If you sail close it will give you the option to rearm.

That should be SofuGan(Lots Wife). It sounds like the file is corrupted due to something in one of your mods. I had that once-Washington Monument look- but was corrected when I chenged my mods, next mission. There's also a program for it in the graphics section of Downloads.

Sofu Gan near Truk? I think I saw it too, but only on nav map; it was feb 44, around the time of Truk raids, I saw a base symbol (US flag and an anchor) just north of Truk. After zoomin in I saw just flat square piece of land that disappeared before I could reach it, so didnt see it in 3d, so can't tell if it was like Washington monumet or Sofu Gan. I think its from NavMapMakeOver mod, but I dont consider it a bug, just a workaround to place a temporary sub base near Truk and let you support surface and air forces in raiding the Truk.

Stanger described it perfectly. I don't think it is a bug. It is a allied rearming site. It has allowed me to rearm and return to truk several times. A large J Fleet and 15 merchis are at truk. I just thought it was an odd configuration. In scale it would have to be hundreds of feet tall andit does look like the Wash Mon.

If you put the cursor over the picture at PhotoBucket you'll get a drop-down menu. If you click on IMG Code it will say "Copied". You can then paste your pictures here, like this:
