This new guy wants a ship mod for silent hunter III

I looked everywhere but I can't seem to find a mod for sh3 that allows me to play a ship from career mode. Any link for a download would be nice, I would like a version of mod that is JSGME ready. Playing U-boats was fun but now I would like to take the roll of a surface raider and annihilate whole convoys including their escorts for a change of game play.
