All the ships are in your SH4 \ Data \ Sea folder.
You will need a program like Paint.Net, Or the Gimp with a plug in that can open and convert them from .dds to .jpeg, so you can use something like Windows Picture Viewer for example to print them out. The Subs will be in the Submarine folder in the same directory. Hope it helps! ![]()

As you go through the install of free programs-make sure you uncheck the box for toolbars they want to install. I love PaintNet but as I recall you can get these unwanted toolbars.

Maan,I still think I have my old Pysichal Reconition book for Silent Hunter 3...
or Should I say "Books, as I had one for every year, with new ships added based on when they were first launched. Kinda funny when I'd run into a ship that hadn't been launched yet,as It wasnt in the book,I'd have to Guestimate the range based on experiance and observation. Ahh found them in a box! I had Seperate Books for both US and UK,and one big book of Merchants.Any other nation,I'd use the ingame book. |

I checked the link at the UBI SH 4 forum but the link was broken , but I have a saved copy of the Imperial Navy Ship Recognition Manual saved in adobe pdf.
Link now working as of this afternoon thank-you yooperbacker! This link good: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...other-SH4-info This link now working: Imperial Navy Ship Recognition Manual by centred75 It lists : Range to mast Target speed Target height/AOB Info on Class, tonnage, and Draft I printed all this out in Dec. and made it so the ship was on the left page with info on right page, this made it easier to compare with screen. ![]() If you like I can pm it to you?
