hello everyone,
thanks for reply to my questions, now we are working to built snorkel for type VIIC and type IX, bali antenna and pipeline for snorkel. At the moment we have finished the head of snorkel and the bali antenna, based on images and photo from the book of E.Rossler "U-boat" and some photos from internet. I would like to show you our work, but I don't know how to publish the images because at the moment the box of posting rules tell me "you may not post attachments". Please someone tell me how can i do to publish some jpg imeges? after the work with 3dmax we have built an earlier version of snorkel and bali antenna and we have tested the work in to the game sh3, with very good results. ![]() |

not a bad model, tho you have a smoothing groups problem on the snorkel. Usually, you make a separate object if you want to avoid TS problems. Why did you make it from two objects? It would make sense if you had distinguished it somehow (crease or something) but so far it looks as if you wanted it to be a one part. So, if you want to keep that logic adjust your smoothing groups.
