If I could believe my astronomy book, then even two galaxies crashing means the collision of individual suns and planets is extremely unlikely an event, due to the space between them. I read the probability for galaxies colliding always is greater than the probability of suns or planets colliding in such Bang. After all, in principle we speak about empty space crashing into empty space. The apes will be safe - cheers. ![]()
