Default Windows 7 help

Does anyone know how 2 get sh4 to work with windows 7. I love the sh series but i bought a new laptop and could only get windows 7 with the new chip sets. Also can anyone recommend another subsim game if sh4 is not compatible with w7?

SH4 is compatible with W7 Cowboycop, both 32bit and 64bit versions

Yes it is working fine for me. Do not install it in the default Programs folder. Install in C:\ Ubisoft or something like that and it will work fine.

I've installed it via Steam using their own file tree structure with no ill effects. The only slight issue was installing MODS so that they were in the correct subdirectory.

I have it installed on my Windows 7 64 bit machine, no problems ever. I also have it installed on a XP machine.

I have SH4 loaded fine, but I can't for the life of me, get any mods to run, which kind of sucks, because after TMO, the stock game is kind of flat.... Can anyone offer any advice?

Not without knowing your system specs, the method you used when attempting to install & activate mods, the mods themselves and the exact order of installation - at the very least.

There's plenty of people who'll help you, but you'll need to give us more than 'it doesn't work' to go on
