Ahoy!

This is a bit of a weird topic but i feel it could benefit alot of people! Since the SH group ComSubPac closed due to internal problems from my understanding, i have felt out of place and had no were i could go and play properly! So i would like to get some members of Subsim to join in arms and go to battle.

What does this mean?

Basically i am proposing a new SH3/GWX/SH5 group, Although i run both SH3 and 5 i will more than likely be playing SH3. Heres what i would like to try and set up! I would like to form a active community of SH players from Subsim that get together int eh evenings etc to play together weather its just in the campiagn or we find away to play online (Tungle).

I personally play in the mission editor and welcome mission makers, i will be setting up a steam group and will also be having a word with my friend fromt he US about using his groups mumble as form of communication if those members have mics. I am part of his group so this souldnt be a problem! I know a lot of youa re reading and disregarding or thinking of replying with a comment such as 'Your wasting your time' well maybe i am but its worth a shot.

I would like everyone from cadets, to fully qualifyed commanders to join, weather you like me and play 80%+ realism or just like to play arcade. I dont mi nd and if i no this community the way i think i do, this should come together, and be a close group of FRIENDS, FIRENDS being the key word.

There could also be some sort of mission night, where by once a week we all get together for a vote custom mission made by one of the group members. Like i said, i am not expect everyone to jump at this but it would be nice.

I am open to ideas for the group and will begin setting it up and reply to this post with a steam group link, ect. In the next 24 - 48 hours i should have a Mumble IP for voice chat. Let me make this clear, i will not be making that IP public if you want in on voice you PM me, and you are to only be there for SH and nothing more. I dont want anyone passing it on as its not my server. In the future if things take off i may look into a server like Teamspeak or Ventrilo and even a website ( i am a web designing in real life ).

I feel there is a lot of potential for this and may also bring the SUbsim forums even closer together (IF posible cuase we seem to be a tight knitted bunch already!)

Please feel free to reply to this post with ideas, feedback, suggestions & constructive criicism . This means please dont reply with things like 'Your wasting your time' or 'Forget it', i know most of you guys are more amture and will only put forward constructive replys anyways .

I hope to recieve a few replys and PM's of intrest. If you would like a role in this group, or a postion of power as such then please PM or add me to steam (scope71).

Oh one more thing! THIS IS NOT A CLAN, TEAM OR GUILD OF ANY TYPE, its just a group of Subsim members meeting up to play and having somewhere to sit with mates and talk through voice!

If i am unable to get hold of my mate to get a mumble channel then, i will through cuation to the wind and go buy a teamspeak server! By the way Mumble is a free opensource voice programme so dont think you go to spend money to use voice in the group.
