Played it quite a bit when I first got it, but constant CTDs made me stop.

Default Pacific Storm

I play Pacific Storm Allies. Its much better than the original. I also have a lot of mods that add many new ships to the game, which makes it even better. I also play Battlestations Pacific. Both games have there good points, but they are more arcade than simulation IMHO. Anyway I enjoy Pacific Storm Allies because with the new mods, you can now make a scenario and save it in the battle planner, so you can play it over and over. I've made several of the usual historical type scenarios, such as the Battle of the River Plate and Denmark Straits, as well as various Pacific battles both carrier and surface.

I play PS:Allies from time to time. I like having radar-guided cruise missiles even if they blow up in my face from time to time.

The logistics in campaign mode are a nightmare, and gives the game a different twist altogether. Fun game overall with enough details to keep it interesting.

Hey, Krashkart, If you like radar-guided missiles you might want to try a new mod out by a guy named sunnyscan out on the official forum sight. He has released the modern navy pack, which includes three Russian warships, the Kuznetsov CV, the Kirov BCGN and the Slava class CG. As well you can get some Euro-fighters to fly off the Kuznetsov. There is also a mod for some allied ships with SSM and SAM missiles available, but I can't remember who released them. Sunnyscan has also said he has plans to do some modern US vessels as well. Anyway this Modern Russian ship pack is very good quality, the ships are very well done and all the weapons work as they should and he also has a Ohio class SSBN.
