Battery Capacity Mod

Sometimes we all need a little "realistic". for example trun on the limited battery option.
Thant means you could only range 100plus miles at a few knot.
I've been looking for the way to increase battery capacity.
If we change the value (range speed) in sim file. I bet a lots of guys here have done this. The capacity of battery bigger but meanwhile recharge time will become extremly long.
Thus I tryed dozens of time in SpecialAbilities file try to figure out a way to change crew skill. Both extend battery capacity but keep stock recharge speed.

Here's my work and it has been proved simple easy and efficient.

AbylityActsIn= ALL

Activation=OnOff ;change OnDemand to OnOff means you can activate the skill all the time when submerged.
Duration=1200, 2400, 3600 ; duration time on longer useful
Cooldown=4320, 2880, 1440

reduce 50% BatteryConsume means double the Battery and range. but when you surface the boat. the recharge time unchange.
I've tried 80% but totally lost the fun.
Anyway it's just a game. If you felt submerge range harass you. then try this.

the trick is when submerge, activate the skill, battery become double. then surface the boat, shut down this skill, battery recalculate as stock valume. so the recharge time unchange.

RunOnActivate= IfIsSubmerged, SpeedAheadOneThird ; could change any speed or delete it.


SpeedAheadOneThird should not appear here. delete it.

Sorry, but where is the point in modding a Simulation more unrealistic ? The limited batterie capacity is one of the many things a Kaleun had to consider to survive.

Of course, you can do want you want. But as a matter of fact, a Sim's aim is to be as realistic as possible. That's the difference to other pc game types like "action" etc.
