Default Edited en_menu.txt changes back when I start a game!

Some mods require you to change the en_menu.txt and de-menu.txt.

Like:Realism- and Gameplay-related hardcode fixes for SH3.EXEby
h.sie.
When I edit or delete these files they always change back to the original
unedited text when I start a game.
Anybody know how to solve this?

Do you use SH3 Commander, and did you make the changes without rolling back SH3 Commander first?

SH3 Commander, when you use it, changes en_menu.txt/de_menu.txt (depending on which one you use). It only changes four lines (items 46, 902, 903 and 904), but in order to do this, it first makes a backup of the original file.

Now, if you make changes without rolling back SH3 Commander, when you finally do roll back, or just start a new patrol with SH3 Commander, it replaces the file you changed with the backup file it made earlier.

If you don't use SH3 Commander, or are sure you did roll back before applying the changes, then I don't know what might cause it. Unless you're installing some other mod after the changes, which changes the file?
