Sub dives in bunker / game crashes after torpedo screen

I've started a new campaign without the tutorial. When I'm first in the bunker, the boat is there, but I can't upgrade it, all options are grayed out.

I read somewhere that in this case I should save the game and reload it. I did so, but after loading the saved game my sub is submerged in the bunker and comes slowly to the surface.

I can now get to the torpedo and upgrade screen, but after selecting an option an closing the upgrade / torpedo window the game crashes back to desktop. In the torpedo screen there are only the reserve torpedos listed, so I think the boat wasn't loaded correctly in the game.

Anyone else knows this bug?

I'm using a german version form SH5. But I don't think it's a problem with the language version.
