Default Japanese and German subs in TMO

I'm in my TMO career with high realism with 891,000 tonnes sunk in early 44' but I haven't sunk a single German or Japanese sub can someone tell me where the good hunting grounds are?

You are getting paid to sink merchants! Since when are you a ASW?

I'd say that while your realism settings may be high, the actual realism is pretty near zero.

Ill bet there's a spot in the campaign layers i haven't found that are spawning aforementioned ships on a regular basis. Probably in the harbor traffic layer somewhere.

Wel, I finally got my first Jap sub in their Home-waters. That little straight between Tokyo Bay, or where Tokyo is, and the big bay just to the west of Tokyo Bay area. There is a little groups of islands that form a small straits there, and I was in the middle, at depth as it was daytime, and the sonar man picked him up at about 16,000 yards, so I was able to move into position and blast out the outter and pressure hulls around the control room with one well placed torpedo.

Usually, if I want to do more sub hunting, I either start a career with the Asiatic Fleet outta Manila.

Once you transfer to Surabaya, and Australia eventually, spend as much time as you can in the Makassar Straits between Borneo and the Celebes. That's one of the main routes they travel through there. And just south of there, I think the Flores Sea it is on the map, between the shallows, stay in the deep water, in case of planes or enemy DDs and other escort ships.

Good Hunting Drum!
