Default Odd problem

I'm having an odd problem with my install of SH3. It was happening during patrols after I'd scored tonnage with my previous install from the DVD. I thought I'd solve the problem by purchasing it from Steam, but the patrol I saved yesterday crashed without my even having sunk anything. The one curious thing that happens in these cases is that SH3 Commander resets my patrol grid to NULL.

I'm running Windows 7 Home version 64 bit, the Steam version of SH3 via SH3 Commander 3.2, with H.Sie's realism mod, GWX3, and the following mods (in the order of their activation):

GWX - Alternative Flotillas
GWX - Enhanced Damage Effects
GWX - Late War Sensors Snorkel Antennas
GWX - Merged Campaign
GWX - No Medals on Crew
GWX - VIIC41 Player Sub
GWX3_Ship_Bulkhead_Collapse SFX
No Jawhol
LifeBoatsDebris_v4 JH
ManosEvironmentPro v3 (M.E.P v3)
Torpedo damage Final ver2.0
Damage_caused_by_fires_TheDarkWraith_1_2
TheDarkWraith_DC_Water_Disturbance_v4_0_SH3
Conning Tower open Hatch093food
FM_NewInterior_V1.0
Flakmonkey's Interior with crew
EAX_Sound_Sim_SH3
M.E.P v3
M.E.P v3-Patch
M.E.Pv3 VisualSensors-GWX3
Aces' Super Pens v3 for Wilhelmshafen,St Naz. Schleuse and xtra ships v5
SH-5 Water for GWX 3.0 V0.9 20 Km Atlantic campaign (default)
SH5-Ships_V2
DX9HiResFix
Aces' Super Turms v6 for GWX
Hitman_Beta_GUI_GWX3_1.0
Widescreen MaGui v3.4(Add-on MaGui 3.4)

Any light that can be shed on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

First deactivate all your mods and run the game sh3gwx3 If everything is OKthen run it via CMDR. If OK you have a mod problem; report back and we will help you get it sorted out.

OK, I'll do that tonight and report back.

So far so good. I was able to load saves from both GWX and SH3 Commander with all mods disabled. I'll report back after I've sunk something but right now it's looking like a mod issue. Now to figure out which one is responsible.

Thanks!

Yes, it's definitely a mod causing the problem. I sank a vessel, saved and exited the game. The saved game loaded up no problem. One of my mods doesn't work and play well with others.

I would look first at any mod that adds ships and or messes with the campaign files.
