NEW Sub Game Review

Hi Subsim

Over the holidays I got a copy of U-Boat Leader from DVG Games. It covers the Battle of the Atlantic extremely well. You take on the role of a Flotilla Leader and command numerous boats through the war.

You can download the rules free from www.dvg.com and get a feel for it. Even though it is a solitaire board game, it is sure to please those interested in the period. The smarter among you will find a way to 'play' this with others!

I let my SH5 game run in X1 time while I turn my back on it and play the campaign on a card table. It is worth a look.

That looks fascinating, Raymond!

I'm off to find my credit card.

Thanks for "the heads up"

Belongs in the 'General Games' section. Nothing to do with SH5.

Sailor Steve! Before posting I asked Webster where to put the info. It was he who recommended all SH forums and the General one. I think anyone interested in WW2 sub warfare would find it interesting. I did.

Possibly true, but we do have specific forums for specific reasons. Otherwise, why bother to have more than one? Putting in every forum comes under the heading of "Spamming".

[edit] To be fair, this is just my opinion. Nothing official, nothing wrong, just my opinion.

Default Uh Huh

It is because I didn't want to be accused of spamming that I asked Webster first. He is a moderator.

Anyway...Happy New Year all.

I commented on this this weeks ago before and after it came out. All of DVG games are excellent. What you forgot to sayi s 'it' is a solitaire game. I had pre-ordered this last year. Those rules are updated after players queried many things in thtem Go to 'boardgamegeek' and put the title in search there is a lot about this game.
