Quick advice, please...

After a 2yr layoff from SH IV, I have grown a bit tired of point/click games and want to return to something that requires some thought ...

When I visted the forums this AM, I see SH V is out!

My cpu exceeds minimum requirements, but doesn't match recommended requirements.

How much will that impact gameplay, in your opinion? If it is significant, I'll return to SH IV... All other recommended specs I exceed.

i have also just - today, installed SH5.

have you tried www.systemrequirementslab.com

this will give a reading of your system.

i have struggled a bit this afternoon with things like 'crew on deck.' i just cant get them up there??

my systems fine but the recognition tool tells me my card driver update is out of date. so i went to nvidia to check and found my card IS up to date?

if your game is running you might just have to reduce graphics and other things in options.

if all this sounds unclear then i am unclear!! having just installed this tricky but lovely looking game....

....the mods are coming though, when my patience has had a rest

Thanks flag4... I have checked my system at the site you referenced...

everything exceeds recommended except the CPU which exceeds minimum, but doesn't reach recommended...

if it exceeds the min. then you should be ok, you'll just have to turn down the eye candy a little/alot!
