Default Wolfpack Addon

I've seen a brief mention of an update which kind of adds the simulation of wolfpacks into the game... Can anyone help me find it, if it DOES indeed exist?

It's a GWX feature.

Not a GWX thing, it's part of h.sie's latest realism/gameplay patches, which are compatible with GWX.

Ahhhh, yes, knew about that. It's on my list to be installed when I get Internet back. Just when it's referred to as a gwx feature, I thought there was a mini update or something.

In this case it is a GWX thing. Not a very good one, but the best workaround at the time. GWX has some convoys 'escorted' by u-boats. They can only attack on the surface with their deck guns, but they do help tie up the escorts and sometimes even sink a merchant, which while not truly realistic did indeed give the feel that you were part of a group attack.

Of course h.sie's work goes far beyond that, so I'm just pointing it out.

I'm not so sure, Steve, IIRC h.sie's patch that includes the wolfpacks is not just for GWX, I'm pretty sure Stiebler's tested it for NYGM.

Edit: I think maybe you're talking about what was actually included in GWX, but the "update" re wolfpacks mentioned by the OP is surely h.sie's stuff.

I wasn't aware that I hinted at that. I never thought of h.sie's project being GWX-related. Sorry if I said that the wrong way.

No biggie, see my edit above - I think we're talking about two different things.
