Silent Hunter 3 on Focus Media
...just fired up new windows7 and i hope i have got the SH3 disc from Focus Media: is this the one without starforce AND is patched to v1.4.
it was cheap from Amazon and i have a feeling it is the right one? cheers

Flag, there are so many different discs flying around... As long as yours doesn't have a key code ( the one you have to enter during the installation ) printed somewhere onto the case it should be the starforce - free - version.

Locate the sh3.exe file and right-click on it to go to it's properties window. In the Details tab it should state the file version: 1.4.0.1
