I really haven't been giving it much thought until I went to System Requirements Lab. According to that site my computer meets everything except the CPU. I have an Athlon 3500+ processor (2.2 GHz). The game requires a dual core 2 GHz processor. I have 2GB RAM, nVidia 8600GT video card, and XP with SP3. I can run Oblivion on the best settings right now. If I could run Skyrim on low, or maybe even medium, settings I would be happy. I know my computer is old and I need to build a new one, but the $$$ is not there right now. I'm also thinking that if the Xbox 360 and PS3 had Oblivion and are running Skyrim my computer *might* possibly run it, too (I know completely different beasts, but still.
![]() I also read a comment that Oblivion modded out looks better than Skyrim. If that is the case that kind of gives me a little more hope. |
