I think someone has done a mod to make it snow, not sure if it got released though. The issue was it was either snow or rain, so you could be just off the coast of Africa and it could snow - hardly realistic!

I would guess somewhere in the US Northeast, they were supposed to get pounded this weekend with an early winter storm. Up to 12-14" of possible snowfall expected in some areas from what I heard. Plus the danger of downed tree limbs as many trees have not lost their leaves yet which leads to snow collecting in the treetops and weighing down the branches.

^^^ Could well be. Shortly after I posted I heard a forecast for heavy snow around Boston today. Seems too early, but here's hoping it's not an indication of a long winter ahead.

Yes to around Boston, but I'm south of it so I ended up with rain, snow, rain. when all was said and done bare ground. We had 50MPH gusts though and I have the top 30' of an oak tree laying on my front yard.

You can have snow (if you mod it in) or rain but not both and as has already been pointed out....snow in the tropics for example is hardly realistic

Lots of damage around here in Central/North Jersey. Heavy snow, about 4-5" here at home and maybe 8" at work. Massive tree damage with power out for most people. Looks worse than Irene. We have power and heat, but most have neither. Friends and coworkers told of up to a week before power restored.
It's that nasty heavy stuff too. Shovel full feels like a 40 lb 'Italian Ice'. ![]()

^^^ Good luck digging out. Hope the damage is minimal and things get back to normal asap. Take care mate!
