Default SH4 Crashes on windows vista

My sh4 crashes on windows vista,i can get about 30 secs into the training and then the game freezes.
Im Using windows home premium 32 bit

pentium dual core E5200 @ 2.50 GHz
2.0 gig RAM
Nvidia Geforce 8400 GS


Any ideas?

That the plunge can be caused by many things, install, how your computer is doing, etc. .. have you done a proper install?

I thought "perhaps" in your graphic conditions and the Ram memory, and is patched right .... there are several potential scenarios...

I run SH4 on vista and it works just fine,just don't intrall it into the programs directory.,ie just install it anywhere on whatever drive you want but not in your main programs directory then just patch it up.

Welcome abroad, rickwa99.

First, did you install it directly to your C: drive?
Second, did you disable UAC (User Account Control)?
Third, are you running the install as Administrator?
Fourth, is your NVIDIA card a 256mb or 512mb model?

you should try combatibility with win xp service pack 2 friend
