Default Navigation tools

Hello all.

Long time player back again to my favorite subsim. Gave up on SHIV and went back to nr 3.

I have a question, I remember playing last time I had more exact navigation tools. For example my "plot course" marker had a little X where I started my course at when I clicked on the map. and the ruler and other tools had a circle with gradients around it.

Is that a modded feature or have I gforgotten to activate that?

I hope you know what Im talking about. Better Navigation tools more exact crosshairs etc.

Thankful for answers.

I think you need to activate the nav tool help, from the bar at the top right of the nav map. When you click the question mark and then on the tool you need, you are shown those circles with headings on them and such.

Iirc stock SH3 does have a compass scale around the waypoint cursor. But it isn't of much help because it is too small. This variant I assembled (don't know exactly where the file comes from) might be more usefull to you:

Glad you're sorted and sink 'em all!
