Problem with hi-res fix ..
Hi everyone, i finally got my mods all working together. which are
GWX-contact color SH-5 water V10 Darkw SH4 effects Torp dam fin v2 GWX additional ammo GWX flags and pens Lifeboats v4 WB decks and economy bretts sea floor v2.7 and last but not least hi-res fix. Now everything works fine, well at first the hires fix disabled my f10 and f11 key until magic111 gave me the CORRECT hires fix with correct button function. But i have two problems plaguing me still. 1. All screens got changed from standard BMP to TGA. 2. Taking screens randomly freezes the game. Now this is a huge problem because seriously i got the game looking beautiful thanks to the hard work of many indiviuals and i want them to recieve the credit they deserve because sh3 looks truly fantastic in 2011 being a 2006 game. So any help for my prbem will be most apperciated thanks again

Try the version which comes with the wide screen mod. Hope that will help with the feezes. TGA can be converted to BMP (Or JPG which is smaller).

I recently returned to SHIII after a 2 year layoff and REALLY wanted to use the MFM Mod....still the same as before with CTD's.
So i started experimenting with it... On My system (Win XP w/4gig ram) with many other mods enabled, including the New Interiors, I have been able to successfully get 15 ships (so far) of the MFM mod working in game by simply adding them manually to the proper data.sea and data.roster folders. For whatever reson, these same ships caused CTD's when installed via JSGME. |
