Default View misalignment

I asked this in my last thread, since it was off the subject, I think it fell between the cracks.
Ok...I've noticed that my Binocular view is misaligned with my normal 3D view. ie; if I see an object at 0, when I go to the Binoc view, I have to pan to the left to see the object.
This goes for the deck gun as well, when firing manually, my shell tracers are way off!! I have to compensate and correct as much as 5 degrees.
Has anyone had this happen to them?? If so, was there a fix for it??
I am playing with GWX3 gold w SH3 Commander and all the patches are in place, so as far as I can tell, everything else is running correctly, (hopefully).
I am somewhat new to SH3 as I've played SH4 for quite a while and still do.
If you have any feedback for me I'd appreciate it!
Thanks
D40

Are you using any mods that alter the optics in any way? also, are your torpedoes affected by any misalignment,do they come out at the correct angle that the TDC generated? other than that can't say I am familiar with this problem.

If you mean optics such as a periscope mod or something of that kind of optics then no, I do not have any installed.
I may have to back out of all the mods one by one and try and eliminate the culprit, if there is one. As for the torpedos, I haven't tried those yet. I should open up a single mission and see what happens.
Thanks.

Yes,mods that typically alter the scope views, such as the many GUI mods, and also Hitman's optics which I have used before.Yes it sounds to me like there is a conflict somewhere. How far off would you say the view is misaligned?,in degrees.
Could you list the mods you are using? I am no expert on mods but it should be clear which mod/s could be causing problems,eg,if it is a sound mod you instantly rule that one out for starters.

Yes, I will be yanking them out one by one and hopefully by process of elimination, I'll find it.
As far as the amount goes, the binocs is hard to say as there is no degree readout as in SH4, but the deck gun is out by something like 10 degrees. That's quite a bit. When I'm looking at a ship or some other object, then go to binocs the object is gone and I have to swing to the left to get the object back in the field of view, so I'm assuming it's the same amount as the deck gun. I'm wondering if it's a conflict between GWX and Commander?! There is no documentation of there being a problem like this though.
Anyway, I will keep posting on this until I can figure it out.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm trying it all.
Good Hunting

I can't say I've noticed the binocular issue, but I did regularly have issues with the deck gun aiming off line. It never affected the torpedo aiming though.

My solutions to the problem were:

1) I'm the captain, and I don't use the deck gun. I have much less important crew members to do that for me. The aiming problem doesn't seem to affect them...

2) Whenever I used a deckgun, I'd compensate for the off aim.

3) I sail about in Type II's which don't have a deck gun.

Save yourself alot of work. I've plaayed GWX3.0 and Earlier versions and, SH3C3.2 and earlier versions with any Cfg folders to add on.

And 12 small to Med mods tha are more damage types and the Food one.

AND my binocs and gun are same as yours and always have been. I just lived with it.

I think theres a mod out there somewhere to fix Deck Gun.
