Default You've Been Slimed

Nathan Myhrvold, a former "Chief Strategist" for Microsoft, isn't one to rest on his business laurels. When not hatching unspeakable plots against humanity (Vista, anyone?), Mr. Myhrvold fancies himself a pundit.

In the article linked below, Mr. Myhrvold dazzles us with the following earth-shattering insight: Society is Brainless. Slime Mold is Brainless. Ergo, Society is like Slime Mold. It should do better. Stop.

There's more to Mr. Myhvold's penetrating analysis, but it's either so obvious or so strained that I can't bring myself to repeat it. Let's just say that his critical thinking/rhetorical skills would earn him a C+ (maybe) at any decent high school (if any still teach such skills).

Here. You read it. Slimer.
