Not so much of a question here as a running comment. I am trying to figure out how I'm going to sneak in to Manila bay to snap pictures of a Carrier task force without getting spotted. As we all know, that bay is big on area and small on deep water. Getting close to the harbor at night is a given, but at this date
(Mar '42), I don't know just how much the IJN has set up defences (Mines, Shore batteries ect) so this should turn out quite exciting. I've got my fingers crossed.... D40 ![]()

The best thing you can do is to try to predict the escort's search pattern, after watching them for a while. Then plot some elaborate path to stay at their stern as much as possible, where their passive sonar is not as effective and active sonar is useless.

Just a Little hint the carrier;s are situated N and NNE way up top of the bay with subnets all over the place a there are a hell of a lot of escorts in that bay "but the mission is doable and the carriers can be sunk"
