Remove Speech Recognition

Hi.

Any way to remove SR from the game?
I accidentally presed yes instead of no and it's a pain. I have disabled SR autostarting in Win7 and also fully uninstalled the game and deleted the Sonalysts folder and reinstalled and it still apppears.

Any help?

Unfortunately I don't know a way to disable it. At least off-hand. Mayb there is a switch at the prompt available ... I don't have DW installed on my workstation right now, but maybe someone else could take a look. If that doesn't work then I guess the only way would be to edit the dw.exe itself. The dw.ini most likely has no influence.

Now all of that won't help you with your current problem ... deactivating SR in Win7 ... my guess somewhere in the registry or so is a switch to turn that thingy off ...

No need to remove it realy. Only if you enter the options page of DW does the little SR panel pops-up in the background. You can close it if you ALT-TAB. There is a checkmark in the sound options of DW, where you can 'turn it off'. To what extend it is turned off is a mystery to me, since the little SR panel stays there in the background unless you close it manually. Just don't go to the options page if you don't need to and SR doesn't pop-up.
