Default Todays good news: A few less pirates. Job well done by the Royal Netherlands Navy

Dutch snipers and special forces attack Pirate vessel !

These hineyorifices actually tried to ambush the smallcraft, fired upon the main vessel and tried to get help from another pirate vessel. The other pirate vessel was scared off after a few shots across the bow.

This is new footage from the Hr.Ms. Tromp that was released after her arrival back home earlier today.

Please also note last years impressive movie from the Dutch Navy:

Very cool, that's the way to handle these pirates.

Fantastic! Those on deck scurried away like rats when the shots rang out! This is the way to handle the pirates.

Helps keep the bow of the boat steady in adverse sea conditions.

It's a deployable MAD sensor. Hush hush, it's still secret.
