Default Win7 Service pack

Does anyone know if installing this service pack will effect SH5

Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for x64-based Systems (KB976932)
Download size: 73.6 MB - 892.6 MB

I remember some chat about this a while back with some saying not to install.
Win7 is reminding me daily to install this.
Anyone had issues with it please let me know.

Thanks

It never effected mine while I still had it installed. Using Win7x64 HP. I think pretty soon you are going to get updates that will need this service pack installed before you can update if you get my meaning.

most windows update issues are temporary and waiting a few weeks before adding new updates is all you usually need to do

most times its just someone made a simple typo somewhere and that gets corrected as soon as its reported

thats why i never beta test microsofts stuff, it often has issues

Thanks Stoianm

My computer is working fine, no sign of lag etc that others has seen.
For me SH5 just will not load. It fails before load is finished CTD - then searches for solution..... and as ever can,t find one but will inform me when there is

So next stage - system restore

System restore has failed, twice

Any suggestions anyone

Tested Shogun 2 - working

Reading you links Stoianm and on one there is a list showing of problems reported.
MSI Afterburner is listed

Stopped my MSI Afterburner and tried again - worked

So this was stopping my SH5 working.

No i have not looked at another.

The odd thing is, is that Shogun2 works fine with afterburner. Its only SH5 that will not load up if it is on
