I have SH4 installed on a computer running a W7 64 bit operating system. With the exception of the sonar station everythings seems to work as called out in the manual. The manual states to left click on the direction handle to change the listening direction. In the scenarios that I have run, which are from the training and the quick mission sections of the manual, I have yet to get the sonar to operate. In one of the scenarios I finally saw the green waring light lite, but I was unable to change the listening direction.
Would somebody please point to the best scenarios to test the operation of the sonar station. Thanks Tom |

Never mind I solved my problem. I was trying to make the handle work. Once I pushed my mouse button on the bearing device itself the system worked.

You can also use the home and end keys and with the radar switch it to the non rotating mode and you can move the beam with home/end. this is useful for ranging and plotting a convoy.
