Went to the mall to look for new keyboard and mouse couple months ago. Decided to buy a combo of mouse and keyboard. It seemed to be a Chinese brand but I thought my standard is pretty low I mean how bad can a keyboard and mouse be?
I was wrong! So wrong. The keyboard makes your fingers hurt when typing. They are so hard to type on. The mouse is a little better but the middle scroll is so slippery and hard to rotate like it is stuck. Hard and slippery. So I used my old keyboard and tried to tolerate the mouse until today when I looked for a new mouse. Again I bought a Chinese brand gaming mouse. This time component price wise much more higher than the combo price of keyboard and mouse that I bought the last time. The gaming mouse is quite okay in looks and feel except it screeches when you move it even on soft mouse pad. It's very annoying to me. !#!@#!$!$#%$%^$ Damn it the Chinese can't even make proper keyboard and mouse !@#!@#!$# I'm going to have to buy another mouse tomorrow. I'll settle with Logitech standard mouse or gaming one and no less. They are made in China but the company isn't from China. Damn you Chinese craps. I intended to save money only to find myself wasting them TWICE!!!! ![]() I cannot even give these keyboard and mouses to anyone as that would mean I would be shortening their lifespan out of agitation of using them. If you care about your well being don't buy Chinese craps.

At least you saved some money! Twice even!
![]() I had a problem with lag in SH4, tried the AntiLag fix, but never got it to work for me in a satisfying way. Now some 14 days ago I got a Razer Deathadder Black Edition mouse - that did the trick! http://store.razerzone.com/store/raz...oryId.40946100 A simple mouse, nice size and a delight to use. Cheap too! Highly recommended. For keyboard I've only used the black Logitech UltraX for the last couple of years. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/639/662 Flat, no-thrills, nice key touch neither too hard or soft. Perfect and very cheap! Highly recommend too! |

Couldn't find ergonomic nor proper gaming keyboard at all. Was looking for Microsoft ergonomic keyboard specifically but found only Logitech multimedia keyboard at best and decided to postpone buying a new keyboard. The current one is still good and would really only buy the one I want. Either a proper gaming keyboard or an ergonomic keyboard.
But I got home with Logitech MX518 mouse. ![]() So far it feels great. A little heavy but great. I'm going to use it to full with games I play: ArmA 2, Word of tanks and Steel Beasts Pro PE.

I have a Chinese keyboard a Chicony, its ugly, blue and white colors with big silver colored buttons for media player which I dont even used. But the kb works well. I needed a kb real quick after the space bar no longer working on my old one (to much spamming the spacebar button during FPS multiplayer lol) so headed into town to our pitiful computer store that only had two keyboards for sale - one was very small all black & quite cool but just too small for me. The other was the Chicony big and ugly.

Ah . . . .reading your post Frank, maybe I'll get that multimedia Logitech keyboard.
I just hate not being able to find the products that I want to buy and forced to settle into lesser one. The product is not even a rare luxury(Microsoft ergonomics keyboard costs only about 20 bucks from their site, that thing called comfort curve keyboard). Of course there's the hundred bucks one.

Castout, are you able to buy through a place like TigerDirect or Newegg? I know it would take longer to get hold of the devices you need, but much wider selection at least.

If you're looking for a gaming keyboard, I cannot recommend anything more highly than the Razer Black Widow mechanical keyboard. I got mine 3 months ago and it makes any other non-mechanical keyboard seem like garbage. The feel of the keys is something that has to be experienced. Be warned though, if you go with a mechanical keyboard, you will never go back to a non-mechanical keyboard.

I've changed my mind about getting Logitech [older] media keyboard and even prefer their no frills K120 keyboard due to its thick white key symbols that are easy on the eyes even in bad lighting. Of course if there's an ergonomic one or one which comes with backlighted keys it will be even better. But I'm in no hurry. I'll get it when I found the one that suits me.

![]() Come to think of it, Tiger Direct does accept wire transfers: http://www.tigerdirect.com/sectors/help/faq1.asp#or6 Doesn't look like Newegg will, but they do accept prepaid checks/money orders, and direct transfer from checking account: http://www.newegg.com/HelpInfo/FAQDetail.aspx?Module=2

Hey thanks for the intention. I found a local online retailer guys. They even accept payment on delivery including CC and debit card payment on delivery ![]() Now I can't find the one I wanted but they have a wide selection enough to confuse me lol including a pretty complete array of Microsoft and Logitech keyboards. Now it boils down to guilt ![]() ![]() I have to read some reviews . . . . ![]()

Seems wireless keyboard is a bad idea when it comes to gaming.
Not sure about the lit up lettering. If it falls apart after even 2 years I'd feel ripped off. The LCD equipped keyboard imo is an excess, nice and exotic looking but otherwise little value in usage. Might as well settle with a no frills Logitech K120 mainly for its big bolden white lettering. Quite difficult to see them in my current one especially at night. ![]() My ideal keyboard is a wired ergonomic one with lit lettering or big embolden white lettering. Keys for internet are welcome too. There's the exotic Microsoft arc keyboard but it's wireless and it seems to be designed mainly for compactness and not ergonomics and the lettering seen from pictures are quite difficult to distinguish especially at night. Edit: after reading reviews I concluded my best investment would be the no frills Logitech K120. Wireless are not suitable for gaming which I do from time to time and non game backlit keyboard that are available aren't either. The gaming keyboard may have lit lettering and some come with LCD display but I don't need LCD display actually and the color of lighting is actually blue to red and not white. For me I need something more natural. There are some very nice looking keyboard which are ergonomics but they are wireless and thus not suitable for gaming. I can't believe that my little research concluded that the no frills K120 would be my best choice especially for its big and thick white lettering. I wouldn't feel guilty when I abuse the keyboard either. I'm not exactly a neat guy with my keyboard.
