Default Drunken Aussie Submariner promoted

Good to see the RAN keeping hold of long standing traditions.

Just goes to show how desparate the situation is with crewing shortages

Send him over to the RN...he won't be a bother because we don't have any ships left for him to serve on

"The incident reportedly led to strict new drinking rules."

Perhaps they have taken some of the rules from this thread...

Contrary to popular belief we don't drink 24x7. He must have been on his hour off.

Shocking footage of drunken Aussie submariner on US naval base
It's only 'shocking' because they have footage of it...

This kind of thing has been going on since the invention of the boat. At the most they might be able to sweep future incidents under the carpet but it's not about to go away.

I was at my mate's stag night yesterday, when he and his brother handed me a glass full of brownish, lukewarm liquid.
"Drink it" they said giggling. It was only when I smelt it that I realised the prank the bastids were trying to pull.

Victoria Bitter!!

LOL, they should't be serving it at pommy room temperatures. It should be served at no more than 3 deg C... Oh wait....

Honestly can't stand the stuff either. Its made in the same vats as Fosters.
