Default SH 5 Manual

I purchased this game when it first came on the market and I am p....d off that all we still have is a small booklet. Why are we forced to purchase the gold version in order to obtain a decent manual

The Gold version doesn't have a manual either. I have the collectors edition and that also doesn't have a manual.

Collectors edition is the same as the gold except instead of a cd with soundtrack, gold gets a DVD.

The collectors edition contains :-

Game on PC DVD
An Official Guide (This is not a manual). All it contains is pictures of ships, Guns, torpedos and subs, Oh and a little background on your crew. It is of not much use, to use while playing the game.
A Map (this is not even a KM map).
A CD with the soundtrack on. (Gold edition gets a DVD i think instead).
7 unique skins
A steel box.... well its plastic, coated with a very thin layer of tin foil.

And yes I was a little P*****.

I remember when sims came with a manual as thick as a telephone book.

Hi JWilliams,
Glad to see that you feel the same way to.
I find the booklet useless. I have loaded the game for about the 5th time now and still can't get any satisfaction from it.
E.g. page 22 Radio Station. "From this location you can read, send and receive messages"
Now I may be thick but I go to the Radio Station and can't find anything there to use.

Forget the manual .
Download the new UI mod.
Use the officers panel at the bottom for everything .
