Default Window mode question

Is there a way to keep the sounds and music from the game "ON" when I open something else like firefox?

Not without some heavy modding, I don't believe so.

And as I believe this is a function of the OS, and not the game exactly, I don't think it's possible at all.

I don't think it is an OS thing. In EVEonline I can use window mode and minimize it and the game sounds/music still work.

Right, but by OS thing i mean its a switch in the code itself, something like music_window_notfocus =1 / 0. We can't access that level IIRC, so I highly doubt we can change it. and sometimes it goes buggy and still plays sounds outside of focus.
