Lil' project I've just started with a Tristar 1/35 Marder III Ausf. H, thought I'd do a bit of a WIP on here
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm aiming to do the variant seen in Kharkov in 1943, all German Grey with a winter whitewash, and I'm gonna make a simple snowy diorama base for it, nothing fancy. On with a few pics: Took me about 2 hours last night just to put the transmission together, hence this is the only bit done so far. Damn I've never seen so many tiny bits of PE! ![]() The basis of the controls, that is a stack of 4 PE levers with 5 washers seperating them, that was complete arse to do, although actually not as difficult as I had imagined. ![]() The completed transmission with control levers in place, just needs a few more bits on it then ready for painting ![]() ![]() And would you believe it, the dreaded Carpet Monster hasn't taken any bits yet ![]() Next step is to paint the interior and begin to assemble it. TBC...
