Default Why wont my Watch Officer go to his post when I surface!!!

This is getting pretty annoying... Everytime I surface the boat I have to manually put the WO back to his station. I mean, the crew gets there but not him....

Do I have a lazy WO?

How can I get him to do his job?

Help me please or I make him walk the plank!!!

That's absolutely normal, the game is programmed like that. But wasn't there a mod which somehow managed to get him to the tower automatically?

Yup, it's a lazy ass. Learn to live with it. A bug or the developer neglected to add the code or something.

OLC did try to make a 'mod', or rather he tried to use an external program to automate the action. It would analyse the screen (pixels iirc) for some signs that the other deck crew got up there, and then manipulate the mouse and keyboard to automatically perform the dragging action. But because of some issues (unknown to me) he abandoned his attempt.

1. H.sie's original V15E3 patch, which includes all his fixes up to and including H.sie's fix to place the Watch Officer on the bridge when you surface the U-boat.

Your watch officer is not lazy he's a member of a union and has the right to strike.

It's always been like this. Give it a few years and you'll get over it

And I have the right to strike him, right upside the head.

On the other hand, all the crew management problems were fixed in SH4 (well, except for the one that they broke).
