Navigator messages too much

Any way to get him to stop reporting?While i am steaming the message box keeps popping open telling me the weather and such, driving me nuts.

I'm guessing your using the New UI's from TDW?

if so you need to deactivate mod, and go to this file :-

(This is the location of the file on my computer, yours may differ depending on where you installed the game).

D:\Games\Simulator\SH5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_6_4_0_ByThe DarkWraith\data\Scripts\Menu\TheDarkWraithUserOpti ons.py

Open file using Notepad or similar.

Change the Number highlighted red to what you want (time is in hours).
I've not tested it but 0 may turn feature off????:-

# the regular time interval when entries will be made into the ship's journal denoting: Position (Lat and Long), Course, Weather, and whether following waypoints or not. Value is in hours.
# enter a value below for the time period in hours
JournalEntryIntervalTime = 6.0

Then you can reactivate the mod.
