Default what if...

A game company released not only a game system that attaches wiring to you in order to really let you feel some of the action (obviously not all the pain), much like a playstation 2 controller except for the full body, and the scariest, nail-biting thriller terror game imaginable.

Would you really want to play it?

Cheers.

Ideas been discussed by some companies. One girl I believe had one with electric shocks set to a way that would mimick a stab wound. As well as some impact sensors that would make you feel like you were being shot.

I can't even stomach Amnesia as it is, so count me out. As for other games, I don't look forward to the sensation of getting shot, stabbed or having my head smashed through a windshield.

Instant hit in Japan, no doubt.

Well thats the thing. If you FELT like you were being shot, then that would hurt too much to contemplate. Im talking about the ultimate immersion factor. a Full suit that projects your senses into a 360screen around you.

That way when your walking hrough the hallway and some demonic razor spine creature comes around you, itll feel so real that it truly scares you, unlike Games like Dead space, which can be very shocking at times, like you turn around and theres a creature staring you in the face causing you to jump in your seat.

But, would you really want to play something like Dead space in a suit like that? Hell, it could even be say like a tube from a tanning salon that uses electricity and great visuals.

Of course this is highly futuristic type stuff.

What you're describing makes me think of the movie "Gamer" where the area in which the kid controls the main character is a room ith 360 degree coverage of screens that show everything around him.

So if Mario dies, does little Johnny die too?
