Default injured repair officer

Hi guys,

I'm trying to make my repair oficer to fix a flooding in my sub, but the "option" for repairing items is greyed when talking to him.
How will I know that the crew are working to stop the floodin of the sub?

Thanks

if the engineer is wounded tha he will not do any order that you will try to command for him untill he will heal... you can see an icon on the top right on the screen who will show you that you have crew that are working to repair flooding after you give the order to stop flooding

ok, thanks.

He is injured, but I can't find a way to assign the crew to repair the flooding.
There is no icon on the top showing that anyone are working on the flooding.

How can I do this when the officer is injured?

you can not do that.. i explained to you how you can know if your crew is working at flood... you must to wait that the engineer is healed to send crew to fix the flood

OK, I get it now

Not good I will probably sink. The flooding level is rising, and my officer is injured.
Too bad It's not possible to do this if other officers are injure

Surely there is a mod somewhere that fixes this. I think it's silly that your crew won't repair damage if the CE is injured. Anyone know if there is a fix? This happened to me too

- i am positive it is not a mod for this.. can be done but it takes out the immersivity from game... if cheef is injured you can think like the hole repair crew is injured

Entertaining indeed but not the answer I was looking for. With all the great modding on this forum I have to believe someone can make it so this doesn't happen. I'm sorry, I just don't buy it. If the CE is injured and everyone is in danger from a sinking sub, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't stand there waiting for orders from the CE.

"Sorry, cap. I stubbed my toe so I can't fix any leaks."

Install TDW's UI mod. It includes the "old style" officer icons at the bottom of the screen. If your officers are injured and won't carry out orders when you go to their SH5 dialog boxes, you can still give orders via the officer icons as you could in previous versions of the game (consider it bypassing the injured officer and giving orders direct to the crew instead).
