Long time SH player of SH2,3,4,5 just bought Fury and tried it for the first time. Not bad at all. I thought I'd not like the cartoony graphics, but they aren't that hard to get used to. You almost expect 'old style' images from that far back.
Anyone know how to find out water depth? I've gone aground four times. I was especially pleased to see a crew member on lookout! I thought it would be like SH2 with just ship visuals. Well done. I also like the sounds. Might steal a few for my other SH games. grin All in all, I'm not sad for the purchase.

Long, long overdue reply here.
I just try to watch the map for water depth. The shallow-water operations in this game are a bit hair-raising sometimes. And you know, I had the same thing with this. You get used to it and after a while it's like an old friend. |

You can also hover the mouse over the icon which is next to the message window (left side). Then, several data will be shown, including depth.
