Default Capt. Nathaniel Fick: A Marine's View from Afghanistan and Iraq (VIDEO)

I thought this was pretty interesting.

(His speech starts at around 07:50)

Anyone read the book?

I didn't have time to watch the vid yet, but his name rang a bell - especially for a german speaker .
He is indeed the same person described in "Generation Kill", the book I am currently reading - after having watched the series. Fick seems to be a competent soldier, he was described in a quite positive light in GK.

Here is a good comparision of those two books http://onviolence.com/?e=193

Great site btw, made by two brothers, a patriot and a pacifist.

Indeed he is. Love the series, started reading the book some time ago, but haven't gotten very far, too many damn books to read atm.

Thanks for the link, I'll have a look.
