Hi,
I asked this in SH4, it never did get done... was hoping it might now be possible in SH5, even though I know everyone is still working out how to mod SH5. Maybe if u can alter reflectivity of the boat, n possibly fade the reflections over time (as boat dries) if possible. The game really does need it. Another thing I find missing, is the boat slapping waves sounds and vice versa. |

I'm sure to some degree that can be achieved, but wondering at what performance cost.
I'm sure it's important to you (obviously) but at this point I think most of us would like to see the modders expend their energy on the numerous missing fundamentals.

It would have been a nice feature indeed, most probably there was no time for it
![]() Right now something could be done, by modifying the specular texture map and specular power from the .gr2 files (don't know how the gr2 exporter is progressing...). However it will have the same intensity level no matter what the wave height or weather would be. A second solution would be to modify the vertex/pixel shaders. Don't know if that would work right now but it's worth a try. |
