Default Hello! Rauch am horizont! :)

Aye, all hands!

This is the your new mate reporting

I would have never stumbled upon this forum if it wasn't for my latest addition to my games stockpile - SH5 (which is my first naval oriented simulator whatsoever)

So after playing a bit on a "medium" difficulty with unlimited amounts of fuel, compressed air and so on i've found it to be a bit "easy" - so given my ambitious nature i decided to take my chances with "realistic"!

To my surprise, after starting a new campaign tutorial (to see tangible difference in realism) it struck me (!) - what happened to automatic targeting system for torps!? (torps - learned that's how sea wolfs call them ) And where are those poor merchant ship i'm poised to sink on my TAI map!?

Hey, hat's off to all those who dare and are so proficient in detecting the target, calculating targets course, speed and so on!

This is the most realistic game i've ever seen demanding real skills - just like on the real, good-old-times submarine to be able to play it!

So concluding my "hello" post i wanted to say that i'm looking forward to learning from your experience, my fellow seamen and enjoying both the game and forum!

Aye!
