Does Run Silent, Run Deep support special missions? I'm wondering because in my months of playing it, I've never once received a special mission.

It does but certain missions are toned down a bit (I think).

Much more toned down, but a lot depends on what boat and port. Being historical most of the special missions go to the older boats like the S boat. Once you take the Gato, you're more of a killer.

I think I get about 4 per career.
