How to change magnification of periscope

Hello everyone, Have tried to determine how to increase/decrease magnification of periscopes without success. Could someone help?

if you mean ingame, use your mousewheel
if you mean how to mod it, open camera.dat

Thanks for the quick response. I couldn't figure out how to change the magnification while I was viewing the target. Now I know!
