Default Auto Targeting with TDW UI

Is it possible to do something like this with TDW UI running?

I just followed these directions
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...17&postcount=2

it's hard for me to remember all this in a tight combat situation but as long as I follow these directions it works.

forgot to add to turn off the TDC before you unlock the target. IF you do it right on the minimap you will see the white that shows the torpedo track line up on your target. If you leave the TDC on it always shows your target at 0 knots so everything you fire passes astern.

The trouble is I don't think any of this works with TDW's UI mod running as it changes everything.

It works for me. Just make sure tdc is off.

A major problem when TDW's UI is running is the space bar doesn't display the locked or unlocked text/symbol in the periscope view so I,m not sure if target lock is working or not. I don't want to uninstall the mod as it makes a big difference.

If you are using TDW UI, there is a button for enabling the lock/break icon. It is located in the upper right horizontal bar. There is also a command in tdw's options file. Search for it.

Anyway even without the lock/break icon and if you have tdc off, you can see a triangle (green/yellow/red depending on solution) when you lock a target.

Eureka! I think the penny has finally dropped. I just tried it on the tutorial and sunk the ship with no problems

I thank all of you for your patience.
